These terms cover your use of LockIn ("LockIn", "we"). By making an account you agree to them.
A study tool. You paste or upload your own class material and LockIn turns it into practice games using AI. AI can make mistakes. Always check important facts against your course material. LockIn does not guarantee any grade, and its readiness ratings and certificates are a readiness check, not a grade promise.
LockIn is for studying before a test, never during one. Don't use it in any way your school or instructor prohibits. We may close accounts used to cheat.
You keep ownership of what you upload. Only upload material you're allowed to use for your own studying, and never upload real exams or answer keys. You give us permission to process your material only to build your games and run the service. We don't sell it.
If you share a game, anyone with the link can open their own copy of that game. Only share games built from material you're allowed to share. Deleting the game turns the link off for new visitors.
Keep your login private. You must be at least 13, and if you're under 18 you need a parent's permission. You can delete your account and its data anytime from Account → Delete my account + data.
Paid plans are billed through Stripe. Monthly plans renew until you cancel in Account → Manage subscription; you keep access until the end of the paid period. The Semester Pass is a one-time payment for 4 months. Refunds: ask through Help & feedback within 7 days of a charge and we'll refund it if you haven't built more than one game with it.
Plans include monthly limits on new games and AI questions so the service stays affordable for everyone. Building new games can be paused at times; the free demo stays available.
LockIn is provided "as is". To the extent the law allows, our total liability is limited to what you paid us in the last 12 months.
If these terms change in a way that matters, we'll say so in the app before the change applies.
