A study app built for brains that can't just "sit down and study"
Paste your class notes, or just type your test topic. LockIn turns them into short study games that explain the words in plain English first, then walk you through one solved example before each problem. One thing on the screen at a time.

Why it works differently
- Words first. Most exam questions are full of terms nobody explained. LockIn starts there, in plain language.
- Short rounds. Quick plays instead of an hour-long wall of notes, so it is easier to start and easier to finish.
- Clear feedback. Wrong answers are obvious right away, so you learn from the miss instead of skipping past it.
- Your own material. It is built from your notes and your test, not generic flashcards.
Who made it
I'm Max Gereau, a UW–Madison student with ADHD. I went to flight school before college, where you learn every word on the checklist before you touch the controls. College was the opposite, so I built the study tool I wished I had. LockIn is made by LockIn Study LLC, a Wisconsin company. More about me.
Good to know
- Free to try, no account needed to start.
- It is a tool for studying before a test, never during one.
- Works in your browser on phone or computer, and you can add it to your home screen.
